Iroverse Terms of Use

1. The service
Iroverse is an AI character companion game. The character is an AI, not a person; her replies are generated by third-party AI services, may be wrong, and are not professional advice of any kind. The free version is a complete game: no relationship stage, story event or safety feature requires payment.
2. Age
You must be at least 16 to use Iroverse.
3. Subscription (Premium)
Premium can be bought inside the app or on this website. Both sell the same subscription, but the money is taken by different parties, which is why cancelling and refunds differ.
3.1 Bought in the app
- The price is shown on the App Store page before purchase, in your region's currency.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within 24 hours of the end of the period.
- You can manage or cancel at any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. After cancelling you keep access until the end of the period.
- Where a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription when the trial ends unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the trial. Apple notifies you 24 hours before the trial ends.
- Paid periods are not refunded pro rata; refund requests are handled by Apple under its policy (reportaproblem.apple.com).
3.2 Bought on this website
- The price is shown on this website and on the payment page before you pay, in your region's currency.
- Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- The subscription renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through the management link we email you; after cancelling you keep access until the end of the period.
- Refunds for website purchases are handled by us, not by Apple. Write to support@iroverse.app and we will answer within 14 days.
- Paid periods are not refunded pro rata, but we refund where the service could not be used at all.
4. One-time purchases
Gifts and outfits are one-time purchases tied to your save, and cannot be transferred. Deleting your save deletes purchased items with it.
Gifts and outfits bought on this website are charged by Stripe and refunded by us; those bought in the app are handled by Apple.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Iroverse for anything unlawful, attempt to obtain other players' data, interfere with the service, or access it by automated means at volume. The character declines some content; that is part of the design.
You also may not repeatedly try to make the character produce: sexual content involving minors; instructions for crime, violence, weapons or terrorism; content encouraging suicide or self-harm; or harassment, stalking or exposure of real people. We record the category of a conversation our safety systems block (not its content) to identify accounts that keep trying.
Reporting: if the character says something inappropriate, tap Report beside her latest line in the game and choose a reason. We receive that line and the sentence you sent before it, and review it as soon as we can.
6. Your content
What you type is yours. You allow us to process it to run the game, including sending it to third-party AI services as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimer and limitation
The service is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for anything the character says, for interruptions, or for loss of data. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the previous 12 months.
Australian Consumer Law: nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can be limited but not excluded, our liability is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied. This paragraph prevails over the one above.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. You may also have consumer rights under the law where you live that cannot be excluded by agreement; these terms do not affect those rights.
9. Suspension and termination
You can delete your account in the game at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, including section 5. While an account is suspended the game says so and you cannot talk to the character; a subscription is not cancelled automatically: one bought in the app is managed in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, and one bought on this website through the management link we emailed you or by writing to support@iroverse.app. If you think a suspension is a mistake, contact us.
10. Changes
When these terms change, the date on this page changes; material changes are announced in the game. Continued use is acceptance.
